4-star Offensive Guard, Bryce Foster, recently released his top 5 potential landing spots.
This 2021 recruit is a whopping 6′ 4.5″ and 318 lbs. He’s one of the top offensive lineman recruits in the nation. According to 247Sports, he is the no. 2 OG in the country and no. 11 recruit in Texas. On top of all that, he’s a Shot and Disc JO National Champion and a national record holder for 15-16 Boys Shot and sports a discuss throw.
Most analysts, like 247Sports, predict Foster is heading to Texas A&M. While this most likely his destination considering his brother is a former Aggie and he feels at home there; I wouldn’t count out OU or Texas.
OU has the allure of producing NFL quality lineman thanks to coach Bedenbaugh. On top of that, Out of all of the schools listed in his top 5, OU has the best reputation as far as conference titles go.
On the other hand, Texas desperately needs help on the offensive line. With the current state of their line and only 3 2021 offensive line recruits, Foster would likely see some playing time as a freshman. In addition, Foster is a Texas native so he wouldn’t be too far from home.
I’m predicting Foster ends up at Texas. Foster plans to take the rest of his official visits before announcing, so it’s unclear if we will have an answer by signing day or not.
