Tuna’s Picks: Your Week 6 Gambling Guide

Do you like watching college football? Do you like free money? Do you like taking advice from random strangers? If you answered yes to any of those questions you’ve come to the right place. This is Tuna’s Picks, a gambling blog brought to you by Saturday Tailgate.

We’ll start with a brief recap of last week and Tuna’s overall record and then move into his top 3 picks for the week. Follow his advice and you should walk away a winner..

Week 5 Recap

Tuna is coming into week 6 sitting at 15-8 after going 2-2 last week. Tuna hit on Auburn (-9.5) and the Ohio State (-17). His Clemson (-27) and Alabama (-32) picks didn’t do so hot.

Week 6 Picks

Oklahoma (-32) vs Kansas

Tuna think this ones pretty self explanatory. “Oklahoma has the best offense in the league and Kansas just lost to WVU. Not to mention, Oklahoma is 4-1-1 in their last 6 games away against the spread”.

Georgia (-24.5) vs Tennessee

“Georgia is 6-3 versus the spread as an SEC visitor and I don’t believe Peyton Manning is playing QB for Tennesee, this is another easy one”. Tuna’s right, Pruitt is in the midst of a QB dilemma with problems on every side of the field. Both teams are coming into this one well rested (off a bye) but Tuna’s got no doubt Georgia is going to rack up the points this week.

LSU vs Utah State (U73.5)

“LSU has one of the best defenses in the SEC and Utah’s offensive stats have been inflated by a cupcake schedule. If Utah State can only score 23 points against San Diego State they won’t score more than 20 on LSU. Utah State’s got a half way decent defense too, I doubt LSU will be able to make up for Utah State’s shortcomings on the total”.
