For those of you that don’t know or don’t remember, Former Oklahoma stud WR Marquise Brown had suffered a right foot injury in the 2018 Big 12 championship game. He ended up playing through the injury in the orange bowl, but required off-season surgery afterward
Despite the injury, Brown was drafted 25th overall by the Baltimore Ravens in 2019. Brown’s overwhelming talent made light of the relatively mild injury.
However, the question remained, when would Hollywood Brown be able to join his new team at training camp?
Ian Rapoport had some good news on the situation.
Hollywood Brown is progressing well and should be back on the field in a few weeks, I’m told. As for Jaylon Ferguson, it’s a minor hamstring https://t.co/8ZZzK1zz1N

According to Jeremy Bergman on NFL.com, Brown will start training camp on the active/non-football injury list. Essentially, he won’t be able to suit up right away but at least he will be attending camp at some capacity. Looking at Rapoports report, it sounds like it won’t be long before he’s back on the field.
This is good news not only for Marquise Brown but also the Baltimore Ravens. I think the Ravens will benefit from his speed this year, assuming Lamar Jackson – or whoever ends up as Baltimore’s QB – can utilize Brown as a deep threat.
The Ravens first team practice will be July 25th. I hope everything goes well for the former Sooner.
