All eyes are on the number 30 overall player in the 2020 class. Tyree is the number one all-purpose back and number one player out of Virginia. He has announced he will make his decision on May 23.
According to 247 Sports, Chris Tyree is predicted to sign on with Notre Dame. But Oklahoma has made quite the impact on the highly touted recruit.
Tyree was supposed to take an official visit in June to Notre Dame but decided to move up his commitment.
Reading into it would seem like he would be picking Oklahoma as he said he almost committed during his last visit. He also talked about his appreciation and connection to Lincoln Riley.
Chris Tyree was recently quoted when asked about his visit to Oklahoma,
“Yeah, I mean, I felt really good after the visit,” said Tyree with a laugh. “Right now, we’re just thinking about everything a little more. We’re still going to take the visit though. I’m still not sure I want to commit too soon, because I still have that visit available.”
Whoever lands Chris Tyree is getting a special talent. Alabama is also in the mix but this seems like it will come down between Oklahoma and Notre Dame.
Check in May 23 to see where Tyree lands.
