The Oregon Ducks have added former Oregon Duck quarterback Nate Costa to there coaching staff. He will be an offensive analyst for the team. Costa will be working a lot with the quarterbacks.
Costa last coached with former Oregon catch Chip Kelly last season as an offensive analyst. Before that Costa was the offensive coordinator at national prep powerhouse IMG Academy in Florida. Also, Costa spent time as a graduate assistant for the Ducks from 2013 to 2015.
Costa played for the Ducks from 2006 to 2010. Injuries derailed his career at Oregon. In 2008 he was named the starting quarterback after beating out Jeremiah Masoli and Darron Thomas. Before the season started, Costa suffered a knee injury. Costa was a backup quarterback soon after that. Costa finished his career with 556 passing yards and just two passing touchdowns.
