Bold Predictions For LSU vs. Clemson

January 13th in New Orleans, two Tigers will clash for a shot at the National Title. Will the LSU Tigers finish their run of destiny, or will Clemson continue its domination of college football?

LSU’s Destiny

LSU stormed back into the college football scene this year in a way no one expected. For the past decade or so LSU was led by mediocre quarterbacks which usually turned into a lackluster offense. But then come Joe Burrow. Borrow was stuck behind JT Barrett and Dwayne Haskins at Ohio State. He transferred to LSU, and the rest is history.

He dominated the 2019 season, torching Alabama on the road, to destroying Georgia in the SEC championship, to winning the Heisman Trophy by the largest margin ever, to throwing 7 TDs in the first half of the College Football Playoffs against Oklahoma. Burrow’s legend will never be forgotten, especially if he closes this season with a championship. Also, Coach Orgeron is everyone’s favorite Louisianimal!!!

Dabo’s Dominant Tigers

The Clemson Tigers are in a very familiar place. Clemson has played in 4 of the last 5 national titles, and have won 2 so far. And as crazy as this may sound, Clemson may have the better quarterback in this match up. Trevor Lawrence has been nothing short of spectacular since he stepped on campus at Clemson. He is 25-0 as the Clemson starter, and many of those games haven’t been close.

Although Lawrence started the year a little rocky, he has found it as of late and looks like the Lawrence we knew all along. Dabo Swinney is arguably the best coach in college football as of right now. He is looking to become only the 12th coach to have 3 national titles in the AP era. I have no doubt hee will have his team ready.

LSU vs. Clemson Prediction

LSU vs. Clemson has the making of a classic, this game will be remembered for years to come. According to BetOnline.ag LSU is 5.5 point favorites. Like my boss, Ryan, I have to disagree with “Vegas” on this one. This game will go to the wire but Clemson is going to win outright.

Clemson has too much experience and Dabo is in the midst of a dynasty. Now most people are probably expecting this to be relatively mild in terms of scoring considering the strength of Clemson’s D and the scores of the last 2 championship games. This year, Clemson’s D will do just good enough to slow down Burrow and the gang, but this is still going to be a shoot out. There are too many offensive weapons on the field. I see this game ending at 41-38, so if you’re a gambler take the over on the 69.5 point spread.
