Tennessee Misses Out On 4 Star QB

Haynes King, who’s listed as the class of 2020’s third-best dual-threat quarterback, per 247Sports‘ composite rankings, has chosen to attend Texas A&M.
King revealed the news to Hayden Henry of the Longview News-Journal (h/t Gerry Hamilton of ESPN.com) and cited Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher as a major reason.

Tennessee has been making strides under Jeremy Pruitt to undo the damage of the Butch Jones era. While Pruitt has The Vols going in the right direction, they still missed out on a top talent at QB.

Pruitt still has a commit in the 2020 class from Harrison Bailey. Bailey is the number five pro-style QB in the 2020 class and the number 14 player from Georgia according to 247 Sports. Pruitt currently has Tennessee with a top 30 recruiting class in 2020
