Oklahoma just got a major boost to their secondary in Bryson Washington. Yesterday, Washington verbally commited to Oklahoma and dropped this video on his Twitter.

The 6′ 2″ and 196 lbs DB from Houston, Texas chose Oklahoma over Alabama, Texas, Auburn, and roughly 20 other programs. Washington was a 4-star (247sports) top 20 recruit for the class of 2020. His commitment to OU propels them to #13 in 247sports composite team rankings for 2020.
Not only is it great to steal a recruit from your rival Texas, and other top schools like Bama, but this is yet another addition to OU’s defense. It’s clear that recently OU has been held back by their defense, but with all of these new additions and new leadership in Alex Grinch, that may not be the case moving forward. With a solid defense, the sky is the limit for OU and Washington is yet another brick in that wall.
