Former Florida corner Chris Steele has entered the transfer portal and he’s headed to Oregon.
Florida's top recruit CB Chris Steele, a top 50 prospect, announces he's transferring to Oregon. That means the Ducks have landed three of the top six ranked players in the state of California in the 2019 class. All three are defensive players.— Bruce Feldman (@BruceFeldmanCFB) May 14, 2019
Steele was ranked 95th in the class of 2019 so this is a huge pick up for Oregon. As one of the highest graded recruits to land in Oregon its no surprise he is welcomed with open arms. With that said, he’s not leaving Florida on “good terms”. Rumors are flying about why Steele transferred but it boils down to an untrustworthy coaching staff.. but do you expect anything less from Florida? Regardless of why, the transfer portal claims yet another high grade player and I think Chris Steele will fit in perfect with the Ducks
