The Bills head to Foxboro to take on the Patriots in what is a meaningless game for Buffalo. Obviously every Bills fan would love to hurt the Pats chance at playoff standings, and win. But as far as the Bills season/playoff hopes, the game is meaningless.
But for Josh Allen it could mean a whole lot more then just a late December game. Allen is headed to Foxboro for the first time in his career and has a shot at a little bit of history. Good history I’ll add, not some historically bad stat.
QB’s 25 and under hold a record of 1-41 in Gillette Stadium. In the Belichick/Brady era that record is 1-24. So Allen has a chance to join a very short list of players. Kaepernick is the only QB to get the win.
This Buffalo team is pretty average to say the least. But New England has been struggling and Allen has been able to shock a few teams this year. If he can have a Minnesota like performance, he could very easily join that short list.
With the struggling Pats offense, a solid Buffalo defense and a sometimes electric Josh Allen, it could happen. Or for you Bills fans that love to hate Allen, maybe this will be another disappointment in Massachusetts.
